Munachi Abii, former beauty queen (MBGN 2007), signs to The RMG company as a solo rap artiste. Over the last couple of years 'Muna' has expressed her intention to throw her tiara into the rap game, with appearances and features on songs by other artistes' like Banky W, Ikechukwu (Killz), Jesse Jagz and Waje. Now she has started recording her yet untitled debut album due out early next year and has just recorded a song called Pop Sugar with another RMG artiste Michael Word (the song is produced by Sarz).
Her rap style is so eclectic and 'free range' that many who only see her as a pretty face will be pleasantly surprised (or shocked). Muna (AKA "Baby Rella") will record her album with producers in Nigeria, the UK/Europe, and in the United States where she hopes to pursue her other entertainment interest as well.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered five mobile phones from a convict, Ikechukwu Ogbu, in Kirikiri Maximum Prison in the course of investigating him for another N12 million fraud he alleged perpetrated from the prison.
The prisoner was reportedly prosecuted by the commission over an advance fee fraud case in 2008 and sentenced to a 15-year imprisonment.
Commission’s spokesperson, Mr Femi Babafemi, disclosed that Ogbu right from his prison cell, the convict defrauded a banker to the tune of N12 million, using a love line in a national newspapers.
According to Babafemi, “the prisoner, Ikechuwku Ogbu, alias Prince Eze, investigations revealed, created a 419 syndicate from inside the inner recesses of the Kirikiri Prison, with which he had been duping unsuspecting members of the public. His method is what is known in advance fee fraud as love scam. He advertises himself as an eligible bachelor who desperately needs a wife.
“Those who respond to his adverts end up adding to the long list of his victims. However, the riddle which EFCC operatives are trying to resolve is how a supposed prison inmate managed to place an advertorial in the love links page of the Vanguard Newspapers of March 7, 2009. In the advertorial, Ogbu wrote: “I am Prince Eze, 46, from Anambra State, lives in Lagos. Genotype AA, Blood Group 0, needs a working class business lady between 39-45 to settle down with on 07057928637 or 07085350598.” Several women that were desperately looking for husband called these numbers.
“One of them is a lady who works with the National Assembly in Abuja. After making contact with her proposed spouse, she hopped into the next available flight to Lagos, to ensure that others don’t beat her to her prospective husband.”

All this came a day after striker Nicolas Anelka was sent home for insulting coach Raymond Domenech at half-time of a 2-0 defeat by Mexico on Thursday in Polokwane that left France on the verge of an embarrassing group stage exit.
The incidents were sparked by the players' decision to protest against the French Football Federation decision to kick out Anelka and also by a nervousness among the players after the player's crude comments were leaked to the press.
The public session, ironically on a pitch called Field of Dreams, was about to start when a furious row erupted between Evra and fitness coach Robert Duverne, leading to the immediate resignation of the team director.
Domenech had to move in to separate them. Duverne, who had apparently insisted training should take place, angrily threw his stopwatch on to the pitch and left.
"They don't want to train, it's a scandal," France team director and FFF managing director Jean-Louis Valentin said as he also left the pitch. "It's a scandal for French people, for the youngsters who came here to watch them train. I'm resigning, I'm leaving the Federation. I have nothing more to do here. I'm going back to Paris."

Bafana (South Africa's nickname is Bafana-Bafana) and Mexico Venter were born during the 1-1 draw at Soccer City.
Their new dad, Charl (29) said: ''I'm giving them those names as a token of my willingness to know more about the game.
"My wife, Riana (26), and I knew in December that we would have twins but for them to be born on this day was a wonderful surprise."
