ANGER AS POLICEMAN SHOOT PASSENGERS IN LAGOS OVER #100
LESS than 24 hours after a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and a Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) were killed by some rampaging soldiers in Lagos, the blood of some innocent Nigerians were again shed yesterday, allegedly by some policemen detailed to guard the Isheri-end of the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
For the refusal of the driver of a commercial bus to part with N100, three mobile policemen opened fire on the bus, killing and injuring some of the passengers.
Some passersby cried when they saw one of the dead victims on the ground at OPIC Bus Stop with his brains out. He was drenched in his own blood.

YOUNG LAWYER, IGHO OYUBU KILLED IN WARRI LAST NIGHT BY ARMED ROBBERS
Full details of the the tragic incident which happened in the early hours of today (Thursday, 26th May) is yet to be uncovered but the robbers according to reliable source demanded for the money himself and his wife was sprayed during their marriage ceremony in Warri this past weekend. Apparently the money has been deposited in the bank since Monday and the men of the underworld left after shooting him on his back throwing his newly married wife in a coma.
Barrister Igho is in his late 20’s. He attended College of Education Demonstration Secondary school Warri and Kings College Lagos before proceeding to Igbinedion University, Okada to study Law and was called to bar 2008/2009. He was a practicing lawyer before his death. Igho was also an entertainment enthusiast and a basket baller.
Ighoyefe died leaving behind his newly married wife, mom and dad, brother, two sisters and a galaxy of friends and well wishers.
May his gentle soul rest in the bossom of the lord.

In a matter of days, one of Nigeria’s biggest teenstars - Yung6ix, is to debut his first major mainstream Video on T.v stations across the length and breath of the Country. The song, a superstar music collaboration with rave of the moment, Wizkid will hit your television screens on local and international TV channels. Over the previous weekend, Rapper Yung6ix and Wizkid were busy at locations in Lekki and VI shooting video to the official debut single titled “Follow me “. This is coming after the incredibly talented rapper has released several wavemaking mixtape materials and inking a 411 Entertainment/Storm360 Joint Venture deal.
Yung6ix featuring Wizkid “Follow Me” Audio single was released early April with a massive premiere on Thebeat 99.9FM and notjustok and a radio tour to Rythm and Star 101.5 FM Lagos. With huge radio rotation and over twenty thousand downloads while topping radio charts in parts of the country the song is no doubt a hit already.
The video was directed by Ace Director Bobby Boulders, the veteran behind most of the top videos coming out of Nigeria.
The Kid from Warri is already adjudged by industry pundits as the next big thing and this will be his second video after the popular “Plenty Money” which was released in January.

Star Actress Genevieve Nnaji has taken to Twitter to address a certain picture thats all over the internet, of her and a look-alike, Which bloggers (fore-mostly 411daily) and folks-alike claim to be her Daughter. The Pic has sparked up discussions over blogs and threads with commentators wondering what age she was when she gave birth to her supposed daughter(Who looks older than 15), seeing that she is said to be 32 years old, but Genny had this to say about the pic...

RASHID YEKINI RUNS MAD.
Talk about a “U-Turn”, 47 years old legendary footballer Rashidi Yekini now roams the streets of Ibadan barefooted, a development that has shocked both his fans, foes and friends. Yekini is said to suffer delusions, a neurological illness which hinges on belief that is pathological and held, despite evidence to the contrary.
Neighbours at his Oni and Sons Ring Road residence in Ibadan say he’s been acting strange for some time now, always seen talking to himself. Sources say sometime late last year, Yekini, in the full glare of neighbours, brought out his belongings and allegedly set it on fire.
Yekini lives alone in his house, has a few tenants and rarely gets visitors. Since his marriage crashed in 1994, he hasn’t remarried but has two children who visit him on holidays.
Friends and some of his ex-team mates worried about his mental instability are trying to get him help.

GHANIAN WOMAN MARRIES HER DOG.
Accra - A Ghanaian woman has married her dog because it has qualities she had seen only in her late father. Emily Mabou, 29, of Aburi, married the 18-month-old dog in a ceremony attended by a traditional priest and local, curious villagers, reports the Daily Dose.
Her younger brother David Mabou said her family boycotted the wedding which they felt was "a silly step to combat her loneliness".
But Ms Mabou said: "For so long, I've been praying for a life partner who will have all the qualities of my dad. My dad was kind, faithful, and loyal to my mum, and he never let her down.
"I've been in relationships with so many men, , and they are all the same, skirt-chasers and cheaters. My dog is kind, and loyal to me and he treats me with so much respect."
In the ceremony, the priest warned villagers not to mock the wedding, but to "rejoice with her as she has found happiness at last".
